Alison worked in IT and Finance in the private sector for over 25 years, latterly as UK Business Manager for CSC – a large global IT provider. Whilst starting her career in IT support, Alison spent the majority of her career in business management focused on financial management, business planning and governance. She now has a portfolio career holding roles within and outside the housing sector and has over 10 years of experience as a non-executive director and trustee.

Alison recently completed full terms as a non-executive at both The Pioneer Group (latterly as Group Chair) and at Wrekin Housing Group (Group Board member and Chair of the Audit & Assurance Committee). She is also a trustee of Bournville Village Trust and is passionate about community building, believing that smaller housing associations are in a unique position to do this. Her specialist skills are in risk management, audit, governance and finance.
